CSU Clubs Liaison
The CSU Clubs Liaison or “Concordia Liaison” is responsible for making first contact with Concordia clubs and organizations on campus. The Clubs Liaison will provide assistance in terms of equipment and in professional aid.
Tasks:
- Make first contact with Concordia clubs on a per-semester basis
- Provide training and assistance to clubs in in video production
- Shoot and produce promotional material for clubs to be shown on CUTV’s closed-circuit screens and online
- Shoot and produce lectures and event videos for clubs
- Maintain ongoing positive relationships with Concordia clubs and associations who use our services
- Create Public Service Announcements for clubs and other student organizations
- Supervise and coordinate volunteers who wish to complete their hours working with clubs.
- Teach workshops when possible
This is a paid position (5hrs/week plus some volunteer hours at $10/h)

News Coordinator
The News Coordinator is responsible for CUTV's in-house news program, which serves the crucial function of providing members hands-on experience in a live production environment.

The News Coordinator is responsible for CUTV's in-house news program, which serves the crucial function of providing members hands-on experience in a live production environment.
Tasks:
- produce weekly and monthly focus programming/news items/mini-documentaries
- coordinate Friday skill sharing volunteer-based 'news' day
- conduct informal and formal training for filming, editing, reporting, interview techniques, story-boarding, documentary video-making with membership
- weekly output and posting of news, both internally (Programming) and externally (online)
- organize shooting schedules for newsworthy Concordia/Montreal events
- develop and maintain relationship with Concordia student groups and Montreal alternative organizations
- in-office administrative tasks
- drop-in advice and support
- Work with Programming Coordinator to develop a studio “straight to broadcast” system.

Distribution Technologies Manager
The Distribution Technologies Manager is responsible for automating the distribution system of CUTV. He or she should construct systems and impliment policies for computers, publishing to the web and screens, which streamline the process of getting content out in an organized fashion.
Tasks:
- Ensure that new content makes it from computers to outlets
- Help the station manager and Web Tech maintain Website Content Management System
- Work with the P.R./Events Coordinator and provide technical assistance for screenings and events
- Maintain & streamline current outlets:
- Screens in hall building
- blip.tv page (which is linked to Archive.org, Boxee, Youtube, and podcasts)
- Investigate new methods of distribution, such as streaming, ATSC broadcasting, etc.
- Be responsible for computer operations
- Log-in and file all new content (internal or external productions)
- Work with the Programming coordinator to develop a studio broadcasting system
- Create compilation DVDs
- Help with bookings: pick-ups and drop-offs
- Moderate content submitted online or via the Box Populus
